We will focus on treating trigger points, muscular/fascial adhesions (or knots) and increasing range of motion. How do we create a unique treatment plan tailored to you? We find the source of the dysfunction by measuring your range of motion, performing a series of muscle tests, followed by a postural and gait analysis.

Kinesiology Tape
Kinesiology taping decompresses the tissue immediately below the skin. It has three main effects:
Fluid effect- improving blood and lymphatic flow in the taped area
Mechanical effect- improving the slide and glide between tissue layers
Neurological effect- altering the perception of pain and improving body awareness.
-
Cupping
This modality has grown in popularity as athletes proudly wear their cupping marks at the Olympics, but how does it work?
Cupping uses suction to increase fluid flow and create space between the layers of skin, fascia and muscles. The suction forces the capillaries to expand, and at times break, under the skin which then encourages the body’s natural healing process.
-
Scraping
Scraping has many names: Gua Sha, IASTM, Astym, Graston etc. As a whole, this technique is an incredibly beneficial process for healthy tissue production and initiates reabsorption of unhealthy tissue.
Scraping can be useful for individuals with scar tissue, soft tissue restrictions, chronic inflammation and/or tissue degeneration.
-
Hot & Cold Stones
Using hot and cold stones can be used together or separately. When used in sync, they create a unique fire and ice massage that has a positive impact on your nervous system. When used separately, the cold stone can reduce inflammation and relieve the discomfort associated with headaches or migraines. On the other hand, hot stones are beneficial for muscle tension and soreness (amazing after a work out).
